About · /about/
Real models, amplified.
Spencer Models is a human-first modeling agency representing real talent for traditional bookings and, when models choose, separately authorized AI-assisted campaign work.
We bring talent representation, creative production, model approvals, and usage licensing into one managed relationship—giving brands more ways to create and models more ways to participate in the value of their likeness.
Why Spencer Models Exists
Traditional productions remain essential. A model’s presence, performance, personality, and lived experience cannot be replaced by a generated asset.
At the same time, brands increasingly need more formats, placements, variations, and campaign content than a single production day was designed to support.
Spencer Models was built to connect those realities.
We represent models for runway, editorial, commercial, print, promotional, fitness, events, and other work requiring the talent’s physical presence or performance. For models who separately choose to participate, we also manage approved AI-assisted production and digital-likeness licensing.
AI is an additional production path. It is not a substitute for the person.
Human first. AI optional.
Every Spencer Models relationship begins with the real person.
Applying for representation does not authorize AI use. Traditional representation does not automatically authorize it. AI augmentation requires a separate agreement, and each applicable opportunity is presented according to its specific terms.
Before an AI-assisted deal moves forward, the model reviews the client, category, creative purpose, channels, territory, term, compensation, and applicable restrictions. The model may decline the opportunity.
Brands receive only the content and usage rights defined in the applicable license. Models retain their personal rights in their name, image, likeness, voice, and identity.
More ways to create. More ways to work.
Brands can work with Spencer Models in several ways:
- Book represented talent for a live production
- License approved existing content
- Commission authorized AI-assisted campaign assets
- Combine live and AI-assisted production in a hybrid campaign
For participating models, this can create opportunities beyond the original production day while preserving the value of traditional bookings.
AI-assisted licensing does not guarantee work, campaign volume, or earnings. It creates another legitimate way for represented talent to be considered, approved, licensed, and compensated.
Founded in Houston
Before founding Spencer Models, Brian Spencer spent years working across fashion and editorial photography, digital marketing, technology, and AI-assisted creative production. His photography work for publications, personalities, and modeling agencies gave him firsthand experience directing talent, developing visual identities, collaborating with creative teams, and understanding what both models and clients need from a successful production.
As AI began reshaping commercial content creation, Brian saw an emerging gap in the market. Brands were gaining powerful new production capabilities, but many of the systems being developed centered on synthetic identities or broad technology rights—not on creating fair, understandable opportunities for the real people whose likenesses generate commercial value.
Spencer Models was created to build a different model: one in which technology expands what human talent can do without removing the human from the relationship.
The agency is Houston-founded and is building talent relationships across Houston, Miami, and Los Angeles.
Our Standard
Spencer Models is built around several principles:
- Real people are represented as people, not treated as source material.
- AI participation is optional and separately documented.
- Each AI-assisted opportunity has a defined client, purpose, scope, term, usage, and compensation structure.
- Models may approve or decline opportunities according to their agreements.
- Brands receive clearly defined usage rights rather than unrestricted control of a person’s identity.
- AI disclosure requirements are addressed according to the content, campaign, platform, and applicable rules.
- Applying for or receiving representation does not require an upfront application, signing, or mandatory portfolio fee.

Disclosure and accountability
Spencer Models does not treat disclosure as a substitute for consent. AI-assisted content involving represented talent must first be properly authorized and licensed. Appropriate disclosure requirements are then incorporated according to the campaign, platform, format, and applicable rules. Our process is designed around the separate-consent and deal-specific authorization principles reflected in New York’s Fashion Workers Act, while recognizing that legal requirements may differ by jurisdiction. Full details regarding approvals, licensing, compensation, disclosure, data practices, and prohibited uses are available in the Spencer Models FAQ and applicable agreements.
